What’s different about Kirby vacuums is that they are only for sale from their in-home sales people, which means that you are going to be able to try out any Kirby before you buy one. You are going to get the best machine for your money.
So, what can you say about the G4? Well, the first thing you are going to like is that it is a vacuum cleaner and a shampooer in one machine.
You are going to be able to do everything with this one machine, which is going to save a lot of room in your closet.
Kirby machines are going to be reliable and are going to last for as long as you keep them, and anyone who has had a Kirby knows this and keeps on purchasing a Kirby machine over and over again because of this.

What the biggest selling point for Kirby machines is that they are 
meant to last. The G4 comes with a five year warranty, which means that you aren’t going to have to worry about a thing. The only thing you will need to do on this machine is change the bag, and that is super simple to do.
Another thing that is positive about this machine is that it comes loaded with attachments.
As great as the G4 is, it is a very expensive vacuum and a few of the reviewers wonder whether or not it is worth the money. Retailing at well over $1000, it is going to put a dent into the average buyers budget.
The second problem that a lot of people have with the G4 is that it is very heavy. This can be a problem if you have a lot of stairs in your 
house or if you don’t have the strength to carry or push this monster around.
Another big problem is that hair tends to get caught in the beater brush, which means that you are going to end up periodically taking apart the machine and cleaning it out. This can be a dirty chore to do.
The shampooer that comes with the machine is going to work well, but is only going to be used to clean spots and do touch up work. It’s not going to work as well as a stand alone machine is going to work. Here’s what one reviewer had to stay about the G4 as a shampooer.
“The shampoo attachment will work all right for surface dirt but there’s no way it can compare with my Rug Doctor for deep cleaning. However, regular vacuuming combined with the Kirby shampoo attachment should be able to considerably lengthen the time between deep cleanings.”
Finally, some people have a problem with door-to-door salespeople, especially if you are going to be pressured to buy something this expensive. The Kirby is an expensive purchase, especially if you are going to have to make the decision on the spot.
