Royal MRY6100 Commercial Vacuum Review

Do you need a commercial vacuum for your house? Chances are the answer is going to be “no”, but that shouldn’t prevent you from finding one that is going to be tough enough for a business but still work in the home.

The Royal MRY6100 Commercial Vacuum is going to be inexpensive enough for you to get into your home and tough enough to clean anything that you need.

Royal MRY6100 Commercial Vacuum Specifications:

  • Type of Cleaner: Upright
  • Dirt Collection: Bagless dust container
  • Motor: 1440 Watts
  • Filter: HEPA filter
  • Warranty: 1 year

What is different about the MRY6100 is that it has a metal handle. There are very few vacuums that cost less than $200 that have this future.

It doesn’t matter if the handle is made out of metal if the vacuum doesn’t do its primary duty: to clean up the dirtiest areas in your house. Here is what one Amazon reviewer had to say.

The suction factor is excellent.

For $200, you probably don’t expect much in a vacuum cleaner. In fact, you probably don’t expect that the wheels are patented to swivel, making moving this upright vacuum a lot easier than moving other vacuums.

Another feature of this vacuum is the ability to adjust the height of the head to five different levels. It is going to be just as easy to clean hard floors as it is the thickest shag carpet that is hidden in a guest room in your home.

The third thing that is different about this vacuum is that it is going to be easy to use the attachments. They are on-board, making them always accessible because the hose is always ready to be used.

The vacuum cleaner is very sturdy and nicer than I thought it would be for the price.

If you are worried about cleaning up after your dog or cat, the Royal Commercial vacuum is going to be up to the task. With 12 amps of power and a 14 inch cleaning path with edge cleaning, you aren’t going to have to go over your rugs over and over again to get them clean.

HEPA filters aren’t standard in a lot of the lower priced vacuums, so it is really great to find that this one has a HEPA filter that is going to take 99.97% of dust and allergens out of the air.

The only negative about this machine is that the warranty is only one year. Other Royal vacuum cleaners come with longer warranties, so if that is important check those cleaners out.

Is The MRY6100 Going To Give You The Royal Treatment?

For around $200, the Royal MRY6100 is a solid vacuum cleaner. If you don’t necessarily need something this heavy-duty, check out some of the other Royal cleaners, like the Royal Privilege.

Royal MRY7500 Privilege Upright Vacuum Cleaner Review

What is different about a lot of the vacuums from Royal is that the company is so sure that you are going to like their vac and that it is high quality that they are going to stand behind it for four full years.

There aren’t that many companies out there that are so confident that their vacuum is going to stand up to the hardest use and that sell that cleaner for less than $300.

Royal MRY7500 Privilege Upright Vacuum Specifications:

  • Type of Cleaner: Upright
  • Dirt Collection: Bags
  • Motor: 1440 Watts
  • Filter: 5 Stage HEPA filter
  • Warranty: 4 years parts and labor

The Royal Privilege has a 5 star rating on Amazon.com, because it is a good vacuum. The first time you use a vacuum on your rug, you are probably going to be surprised at what you see and how much better it is than your old vacuum. The Royal MRY7500 is no different. You can definitely see how dirty your carpet actually is.

I just bought this vacuum today (old cheap one pooped out) and after just one use am amazed (and a bit grossed out) at how much dirt was in the bag.

The Privilege is going to be recommended for homes that have a lot of carpet. If you have hard wood floors, you can easily use the on-board attachments to clean every surface imaginable, but the best cleaning from the 12 amp motor is going to be to your carpet.

It is important for a vacuum to be easy to use. If it isn’t easy, you aren’t going to want to use it at all. The Privilege is easy to use and even has anti-marring wheels and oversized bumpers to protect your floors and furniture from damage that other vacuums can do.

It is very easy to push and is much quieter than my old one.

Another thing you want from a vacuum is one that will make breathing a bit easier. With a HEPA filter, the MRY7500 is going to allow you to vacuum without having to immediately go and dust the room you just vacuumed in because the vacuum kicked up so much dust.

The only thing that you may not like about the Privilege is that Royal vacuum cleaners aren’t that popular, so finding bags might be more difficult. You can always find them online, but if you want to pick them up at your local vacuum store, you might be in for a surprise.

Will The Royal Privilege Turn You Into A Spoiled Vacuumer?

The Royal Privilege is going to be a decent upright vacuum, especially when you consider the price. If you are looking for a great upright, the Bissell 3990 is cheaper and will do the job well.

Other vacuums that you might want to check out are vacuums in the Dyson line. The advantage of these vacuums (which are more expensive) is that you aren’t going to need bags, because they are bagless uprights.
