A vacuum is often rated by how well that it clean messes.  The Bissell 37601  is going to clean well.  It doesn’t matter what type of carpet you have, because you can adjust the height of the vacuum to one of seven different settings.  If you want to clean hard flooring, you just have to turn off the beater brush with the flip of a switch.

There are a lot of bagless vacuums out there that make emptying the dust cup very difficult to do.  With the Bissell Lift-Off Revolution, you aren’t going to have to worry about making a mess trying to clean up.

The dust cup comes away from the vacuum completely, which means that you won’t have to drag your vacuum to the trash bin (or the trash bin to the vacuum) to empty it.

The one thing that a lot of reviewers complain about with the Bissell Lift-Off Revolution is that the filters are always getting clogged and then the suction suffers because of these clogs.

There are three different filters on the machine (one of which is a HEPA filter), and cleaning them can take a lot of time (and Bissell recommends that you don’t clean the HEPA filter, but replace it every three years).  Here is what one reviewer says about this problem.

“Simply put, to keep this vacuum operating properly the dust cup must be constantly emptied. Don’t be fooled by the full line on the dust cup. By the time it becomes that full all the filters will be clogged beyond recognition with dirt.”

Will The Lift-Off Revolution Bring About A Cleaning Revolution?

For less than $200, this is going to be a decent vacuum. The great thing about the Bissell 37601 Lift-Off Revolution Turbo is that it is going to be able to transform into a canister vacuum easily.  If you don’t need a vacuum that can do double duty, you might be better off getting a different vacuum.
