You may be wondering what a $60 vacuum is going to be able to pick up. You probably won’t think that it is going to be able to pick up much.

The Transformer is going to do a great job at cleaning your hardwood and tile floors. It can go from a stick vacuum to a portable vac in seconds.

With one and a half times the power of a normal vacuum cleaner, it is going to suck up dust, dirt and larger items. There are many people who have bought this stick vacuum for their floors in their kitchen and bathroom and are happy with it.

“We bought this for doing our hardwood, tile & vinyl floors, and have been nicely surprised! It’s inexpensively priced, and does a great job.”

Another advantage is that it is cordless, so you won’t have to plug and unplug it to reach large areas. Plus, the attachments are going to be stored on-board, so you never have to look for them.

However, that is where the positives of this machine end. It seems like it is only good for hard surfaces, and on anything else it is not going to work.

“This vacuum began to short out on me after just two weeks of usage. Now, I can’t run it for more than 5 minutes at a time without it over-heating and shutting off on me.”

Another problem is with the bagless canister. Even the positive reviewers tend to speak negatively about the filter which is difficult to clean and is always getting clogged up.

“The canister is small and I have to empty it twice when I vacuum the whole place. The HEPA air filter has to be tapped clean after each use.”

“The HEPA filter is also difficult to clean. They claim you can “tap” it, but in reality I find myself having to bang it against a hard surface.”

This vacuum is going to be good at cleaning hard floors, but it is not going to be good for carpet or rugs because it doesn’t have a beater bar to agitate the carpeting. According to this reviewer, there are also some things that the vacuum has difficulty picking up.
