If you want a Dyson vacuum, but are afraid of the price tag that comes with them, you might want to check out one of the earlier models, the Dyson DC04 Upright Bagless Vacuum. This vacuum has most of the novelties of a Dyson vacuum cleaner, but without a really high price tag.

One of the biggest advantages to the Dyson DC04 is that it looks fairly normal. It comes in several different colors (grass green and blue are two of them), and isn’t all that flashy and bright.

You are probably telling yourself that you don’t care how your vacuum cleaner looks, as long as it does the job. Well, the Dyson DC04 is going to do the job. With 1200 watts of power, it is going to pick up hair, dirt and dust. Here is what one reviewer had to say about this vacuum cleaner.

The DC04 has the same cyclone power as later models, and with all Dyson vacuum cleaners, you are going to be able to see what you pick up because of the clear dirt cup. You will either love or hate this feature, because you are going to be able to see just how much dirt you are walking around on and how bad your old vacuum cleaner was.

If you want to clean stairs or a ceiling fan, it is easy to do because the handle transforms into a wand and hose. This is a pretty easy way to vacuum and makes it easy to clean those hard to reach areas.  The only problem is that you will no longer have any excuse to not get under the furniture or the cobwebs in the corners when you vacuum.

The only thing that you might not like about the DC04 is that it tends to eat belts. If you don’t keep the beater bar clean of hair or fur, you might find that you are constantly changing the belts, adding a lot of time to your cleaning.

Is The DC04 Going To Deliver?

If you take care of the Dyson DC04 Upright Bagless Vacuum, it is going to take care of you (or rather, it will take care of your carpets). The only problem you will have is deciding which color vacuum cleaner to get.
