Dirt Devil Vision Turbo Canister Vacuum Review

by Vacuum Critic

You may think that to get a vacuum cleaner that has good ratings you are going to have to pay a lot of money. Well, that isn’t the case, and the Dirt Devil 082700 Vision Turbo Canister Vacuum is proof of that.

With a four star rating and costing less than $150, this compact canister vacuum is going to clean both small areas and the whole house with ease.

Dirt Devil Vision Vacuum Specifications:

Type of Vacuum: Canister

  • Motor: 1440 Watts
  • Cord Length: 20 feet
  • Included Attachments: Crevice tool, Turbo tool, upholstery brush and dusting brush
  • Weight: 10 pounds
  • Warranty: Parts - 2 Years; Motor - 2 Years

The Vision Turbo is going to be a good vacuum to have if you want a compact canister vacuum. It is going to probably be smaller than you imagined, its dimensions are just 18 x 12 x 14, and it weighs just 10 pounds, so you aren’t dragging around a lot of dead weight.

Just because it is small, doesn’t mean that it isn’t going to do a good job sucking up dirt and dust from your carpet and hard wood floors. Here is what one Amazon.com reviewer had to say about the Vision.

“This is my first canister type vacuum cleaner and I’m completely impressed. The vacuum cleaners that I’ve owned in the past had less suction power and were much louder.”

Unlike a lot of inexpensive vacuums, the Vision Turbo canister vac has a replaceable HEPA filter.

Another great advantage to the size of this vacuum is that it can clean a lot of areas that you might not be able to get to with a full size canister vacuum or an upright.

“This canister vac is great anywhere in the house! Get the webs in the corners, freshen up the drapes, give the couch and chairs a good once over you name it!”

This vacuum doesn’t have dirtbags, so there is nothing more to buy. Sure, the dirt cup is going to be on the small side, but it is pretty easy to empty and when you do empty it, you are going to see how well it really sucks up dirt and dust.

There isn’t much negative to say about the dirt devil 82700 canister vacuum. In fact, out of 45 reviews, there are only a total of nine one and two star reviews, meaning that you can buy this vacuum in confidence.

Can You See A Vision In Your Future?

If you are looking for a compact canister vacuum, the vision turbo vacuum is going to be great. If you want a larger canister vacuum, the Hoover Constellation is a good bet and is in a similar price range.

To be honest, for a budget vacuum this is probably going to be a good choice, and since it comes with a two year warranty you won’t have to worry about it for a while so you will definitely get your money’s worth.
